This is a rather difficult to come by piece - a doctors office display figurine advertising Exdol, a medication containing a combination of acetaminophen, codeine and caffeine. Exdol was produced by Frosst, a Canadian pharmaceutical company that was acquired by Merck & Co in 1965. This figurine is known as the Dingbat. It would have originally had a small sign that read Down With Pain, but this is almost always missing. He looks like hes not happy and has four wires sticking out of his head that I suppose is meant to be hair. He measures 6 1/2 in height to the top of his wire hair. Aside from the missing sign, this is in very good condition. Fun pharmaceutical collectible!
