Vintage 1970s Black Satin Bomber Ski Jacket by Golden Bay Canada Mens Size M

This is a vintage 1970s shiny black satin “puffy” bomber style jacket. The jacket is made in a bomber/windbreaker style with a 100% nylon exterior, quilted nylon lining and polyester fill. It has raglan style sleeves with applied epaulets at the shoulders. The jacket does up the front with a metal zipper and five snaps and has two side pockets with snap closures - there is a triangular leather piece at the end of either pocket opening. There is also a zippered pocket at the upper left sleeve. It has a Borg type covered pile collar, an elasticized bottom and elasticized cuffs.

Sizing: Size 42 is indicated on the label, and although according to the label, this should fit a large size, it is too snug at the bottom and would fit a medium - please note the following measurements for fit, taking the cut of the garment into account:
Sleeves: 31” long from the neck seam including the elasticized cuff
Sleeve inseam: 19”
Chest: 48” around, taken under the arms
Bottom: 26” around unstretched, stretches out to 35” max
Length: 26”, measured flat
Condition: This jacket is in very clean condition with no wear, tear, stains or odours. The jacket has a dry cleaning ticket affixed to it. It looks like it saw little use and was very well cared for over the years.
This is a great winter jacket - Canadian know about winter, this is really well made and looks very contemporary!
