Vintage Courreges Orange T Shirt Top Size S 1970s

This is a wonderful t-shirt/top made with an applied square pocket at either breast. The Courreges logo is embroidered at the upper center of the piece. The top is made with a rounded collar, short sleeves and with a longer silhouette.

Age: early 1970s

Label: Courreges Paris Modele Depose Made in France. Andre Courreges is a legendary Parisian fashion designer, known for his avant garde "space age" design during the 1960s, and his innovative, "fresh" looking designs through the 70s.  The retailer's label of "Lily Simon" is also present - Lily Simon was a high-end Montreal boutique that carried only luxury brands.

Color: Orange

Material: Polyamide. Polyamide is Dupont's trade name for nylon.

Sizing: Courreges size A is indicated - the lady from whom this was acquired normally wore a French size 34-36/US size 4-6 - please note the following measurements for fit taking fabric stretch into account:

Shoulders: 11" unstretched to 16" fully stretched, across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Bust: 27", unstretched to 38" fully stretched

Waist: 26" unstretched to 37" fully stretched around

Length: 23" to 27" long, measured flat, depending on stretch

Condition:  It is in excellent condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors, in fact, this t-shirt looks like it was never used, and was very well cared for over the years.

This is a great piece - rather sexy styling & very classic!
