Vintage 1970s Black Velvet Jacket Custom Tailored Size S M

This is a vintage 1970s black velvet jacket tailored by Steven Berke of Montreal. The jacket features a longer, streamlined silhouette with padded shoulders, a single-button front, notched lapels, and flapped front pockets.

Material: Cotton velvet (outer), acetate lining
Label: tailored by Steven Berke Montreal.  Steven Berke was founded during the early 70s and still exists today

Sizing:  Being custom tailored, there is no size tag.  This should fit about a US size 37, between a small and medium size.  Size is usually 4” less than the chest measurement.  Please rely on the following measurement for fit:

Measurements:

Shoulders: 17 1/2” seam to seam

Sleeves: 25 1/2”

Sleeve inseam: 17 3/4”

Chest: 41” around underarms

Waist: 37” around

Length: 31 1/2” from back neck seam to hem

Condition: In very good condition with minimal wear. Clean, but a professional dry cleaning and pressing would be beneficial.
