This is a vintage smoking jacket made of leopard spot printed red cotton corduroy with black satin acetate trim.  This smoking jacket has a shawl collar in black satin acetate, turned black satin cuffs and a matching black satin sash belt.  It has a breast pocket and pocket at either side, all trimmed in black satin acetate fabric. 

Age: 1950s

Color: Red and black

Sizing: Size M for medium is indicated, but please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 19” across seam-to-seam

Sleeves: 24” long

Sleeve Inseam: 17 3/4” long

Chest: 44”, taken under the arms approximate depending on overlap

Waist: 44”, but meant to be cinched with the belt

Overall length: 35”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Condition: This smoking jacket is in very good condition with the exception of some reddish discolouration at the back of the neck.  The jacket would benefit from a professional pressing - do not try to iron this with a hot iron.  

This is a great looking smoking jacket in an attractive colour and wild print….sure to be noticed!
