1950s Vintage Sweater w/ Monogram, in Black & Gold Wool

Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing

From the 50s here's a wool sweater made in a bolero style. The sweater has the initial F monogram - you might remember how Laverne on the Happy Days television program always had an initial "L" monogrammed on her sweaters and tops, perfect 50s style. The F is made of braided metallic gold thread and the same type of braided metallic trims the contour of the sweater and the cuffs of the sleeves. The body of the sweater also has gold thread running throughout it and also has "flecks" of gold metallic woven throughout. The sweater has only a double button closure at the neck. It is full lined in black rayon acetate. There is no label.
