This is a rhinestone brooch featuring a “trembler” pistil, unsigned but made in a form very similar to one designed in 1939 by Alfred Katz for Coro.  The difference is that this brooch has a double row of faux pearls - whether this was made by Coro, I’m unsure.  The brooch is set in a gold toned metal with silver toned flower and bow - the leaves are painted in green.  It measures 4” in height.  It is in very good condition except for a missing pearl at the bottom and two missing at the top - there should be easy to replace.  There are a couple of dark rhinestones at the bottom of the flower as well as one missing stone - there are a few other places where the stones are “low” in the well, so I’m unsure if perhaps they are replacements, however, this isn’t apparent under normal viewing.

Whether by Coro or not, this is a wonderful vintage brooch, sure to be noticed!
