Vintage 1940s Fidelitone Master Phonograph Needle Case & Brush - No Needle
$24.00
Brand Etsy
This is a vintage case that originally held a Fidelitone Master phonograph needle - the needle is no longer present. But the case is iconic and when you remove the cardboard cap on the underside, it reveals a brush that one would use to wipe dust from the record. Fidelitone needles were introduced in 1929 and were a subsidiary of Permo Products Corporation of Chicago. They were considered innovators and were the largest producers of phonograph needles up until the 1960s when tech and foreign competition forced Fidelitone to change their business model. The Fidelitone Master was the middle of line in terms of quality, costing $1.50 in 1948. This is a nice collectible piece in very good condition..
