This is a vintage 1940s or early 50s yellow wool jacket made in a swing style.  It has padded shoulders, full cut cuffed sleeves and is made with a flare to the bottom.  It has side pockets that have semi-circular openings and circular decorative stitching.  The jacket has a shawl collar and rounded cutaway bottom.  It has no closures and is meant to be worn open.  It is fully lining in white acetate.

Sizing: No size is indicated and although this should fit a medium to large size depending on preference for looseness, please note the following measurements for fit (your body measurements should be smaller, or measure a similar garment that you own):

Shoulders:  16 1/2” across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Sleeves:  23” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve inseam:  15 3/4”

Bust:  46” around

Bottom:  54” around

Length:  27” long, measured flat

Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odours - this jacket has a dry cleaning ticket affixed to it and looks like it saw little use and was very well cared for over the years.
