Vintage 1930s Slip Pink Rayon Jersey and Lace Size M

This is a very pretty 1930s slip made in an unusual jersey fabric that I believe is rayon. Although the fabric has a nylon-like appearance, nylon really only started to be used on garments after the war, post-1945. The fabric has a linear patterning, like a faille fabric. The slip has lace at the top and bottom of the piece. It has adjustable shoulder straps - the clips are made of cream coloured celluloid plastic.
Sizing: There is a size label affixed to the interior that reads 48 (maybe a European equivalent for a size 38?), and although this should fit a medium size, but please rely on the following measurements for fit, keeping the style of the garment in mind (please measure your body or a similar garment that you might own for comparison):
Waist: 31” around
Hips: 38” around
Overall length: 43", measured flat from the top of the strap to the hemline - note that the straps are adjustable
Condition: It is in very good condition with the exception of a number of small frays / pulls, maybe a dozen or so, and a small repair in the same area, to the jersey fabric where it is attached to the lace at the top (see last close-up photo). Otherwise, the slip is in very good condition with no other noted defects.
The fabric is very slinky on this slip - not your typical 30s era slip!
