Halston Lifestyle Red Wool Coat 1990s Ladies Size 8
Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing
This is a red wool coat sold under the Halston Lifestyle label. The Lifestyle label was introduced in 1996, six years after Halston passed away, with Randolph Duke brought on as Creative Designer. I don’t think that this particular label lasted more than a couple of years, so this probably was designed while Duke was there. This coat is made of red wool and trimmed in black velvet at the collar and cuffs. It has padded shoulders, built-in pockets at either side and four hidden buttons down the front as well as a visible black button at the neck. The coat is fully lined. The body flares down to the hemline, so the fall is very attractive.
