This is a wonderful vintage designer Andre Courreges wool skirt featuring a striking orange color with the white Courreges logo appearing at the upper front center. The skirt is made in an above the knee length. It is lined in 100% white acetate. It does up with two orange metal snaps, a hook and eye and a zipper at the side.
Age: early 1970s
Label: Courreges Paris Hyperbole Made in France with a stamped number of “061027”. Andre Courreges is a legendary Parisian fashion designer, known for his avant garde “space age” design during the 1960s, and his innovative, “fresh” looking designs through the 70s. The Hyperbole line was introduced in 1971, with a focus on sportswear designed for younger clients.

Material: 100% Wool with an acetate lining
Sizing: Size 0 is indicated, which is a Courreges code for a US size 4/6 - please note the following measurements for fit (your body measurements should be smaller, or measure a similar garment that you own):

Length: 19 1/2” long, measured flat
It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odors, in fact, this skirt looks like it saw very little use, and was very well cared for over the years.
