This is a 1920s era advertising fan featuring an illustration of an art deco era lady by Fitz William Boynton. The back of the fan advertises the “Restaurant Chez Harvey” in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec. It advertises, in French, candy, cigars, cigarettes, soft drinks and ice cream with specialties being “fantasy sorbets” and hot dogs. It measures 11 1/4” in height, including its handle and 7” in width at its widest. It is in good condition except for some creasing to the cardboard and a vertical crack through the wood handle. Despite this, this is a rare Quebec advertising fan featuring a wonderful art deco illustration!
