This is an authentic Victorian era Valentine card, dating to the 19th century. The card is made with a “paper lace” front, diecut, embossed and pinpricked in an ornate design, printed with metallic gold ink and decorated with two figural printed diecuts, one of a young boy and the other of grasping hands surrounded by roses and with text that reads “Constant to Thee”. The interior features a diecut bouquet of flowers affixed to a green paper background. There is no message, so can be personalized if desired. The card measures 7” by 4 7/8” closed. It is in very good condition with minor creasing to the back. This is a gorgeous example and a wonderful addition to a collection!
