This is an antique art nouveau bronze statue by German sculptor Victor Heinrich Seifert (1870-1953).  Victor Heinrich Seifert was born in Döbling (Austria) in 1870.  He was trained at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Munich as well as at the Academy of Arts in Berlin, where he studied with Ernst Herter, Ludwig Manzel and Peter Breuer.  He travelled to Paris, Italy, Brussels and London to further his studies and then became a professor in Berlin.

This appears to me to be an earlier work, in the neo-classical style, as opposed to the art nouveau and art deco styles he was to later adapt.  The piece is meant to serve as a candleholder - there is a brass piece that screws on to her hand that is extended up.  The  left leg is signed “V Seifert” in a vertical configuration.  The piece measures 18” to the top of the candleholder (45.5 cm) - it weighs 6 lbs and 6 oz.

This is a nicely detailed statue with beautiful draping and original patina, lovely quality.

Rare statue by a well regarded German sculptor!
