Antique 1900s Butterick Pattern Girls Empire Coat 9034 Delineator Style

This is a vintage pattern and instruction sheet for a “Girls’ Empire Coat”, Butterick design #9034. The contents appear to be complete with original instructions - all of the other patterns from the same lady have been complete, but I must admit that I find this one difficult to figure out as there are a number of stiffer cardboard pieces cut along with the paper. The envelope has damage, missing paper at the top and a tear at the left side as well as a completely open right side. The contents have a bit of staining, but basically are in very good condition. The patents on the envelope back date 1898, but I assume that this coat is a little later, sometime during the 1900s. My understanding is that you can make sizes other than what is specified on the pattern using a certain procedure for alteration. Please check my other listings for other patterns - this is an old pattern for a girl’s coat!
