1970s Vintage Purple Velvet Coat Ladies Size Small

Sizing: There is no size label on this vintage purple velvet coat, but it should fit a small size.  Please note the following measurements for fit, perhaps measuring a similar coat that you own for comparison:
Shoulders:  15” across
Sleeves:  23” long
Sleeve inseam:  15”
Bust:  36” around, allow extra room for fit
Waist:  36” around
Hips:  42” around
Length:  41 1/2”, measured flat
This is a very nice quality 1970s vintage purple velvet coat featuring lovely styling and detail.  The coat is made with a wide pointy collar, a five button front and built in diagonal side pockets.  It has a slash pocket at either side with a flap positioned horizontally over each.  The coat has a raised panel at the upper centre, front and back, with stitched detailing to either side.  There is a long pleat at the back, which gives the coat its flared form. This vintage purple velvet coat is suitable for fall or moderate colder climates.

Condition:  This vintage purple velvet coat is in very good condition with no pronounced marking, wear, tear or stains - this appears to have seen little use and was well cared for and stored over the years.
