1960s Vintage Mink Jacket Light Brown Size M

Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing

This product is unavailable

This is a very nice quality 1960s vintage mink jacket made in an attractive style with quality pelts.  This vintage mink jacket has a wide rounded collar that can be worn down or up around the head for extra warmth.   It has wrist length raglan style sleeves with turned cuffs so that, as was the style during the 60s, one could show off one’s gloves.  There is a hook closure but no corresponding eye, so you would have to sew an eye at an appropriate place that would suit your size, or simply wear this without it being secured closed.  This vintage mink jacket is lined in an embroidered fabric.
Colour:  Light brown - I think that this tone may be referred to as dawn.
Label: None
Sizing: No size is indicated on this vintage mink jacket and although this should fit a medium size, please rely on the following exterior measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the fur into account (compare measurements with a similar fur jacket that you presently own or to your own body measurements, taking the cut of the garment into account):
Shoulders: 17” across, estimated due to raglan sleeve
Sleeves: 20” from the estimated shoulder, 28 1/2” from the mid-neck to the cuff
Sleeve inseam: 13 1/2”
Bust:  44” around, taken under the arms
Bottom:  48” around
Overall length:  24”, measured flat at the back
Condition:  This vintage mink jacket is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, soiling, staining or splits - there are a few light brown spots to the lining at the middle area (see last close-up photo) that I haven't tried to remove, fairly minor.
Excellent quality pelts used to make this vintage mink jacket - nice style, 60s glamour!
