1960s Vintage Crombie Cloth Coat Short Overcoat Size M

This is a mens vintage Crombie cloth coat made in a short length.  It made in a charcoal grey coloured wool.  This vintage Crombie cloth coat has fairly wide peaked lapels and does up with three matching covered buttons at the front.  There is a pocket at the left chest and a flapped pocket at either side.  The shoulders are squared and padded and the sleeves have two matching covered buttons at either cuff. The coat is fully lined in a black satin fabric. 

Label: Cloth Made by Crombie Aberdeen, Scotland Regd. 

Tailor’s label:  None - I assume that this was tailor made, but possibly was manufactured

Sizing: There is no size indicated, but this vintage Crombie cloth coat t should fit a size medium (probably a US size 38), depending on whether you wish to wear a jacket underneath - please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 17” across seam-to-seam

Sleeves: 24” long from the shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam: 16”

Chest: 43” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 42”

Hips:  46”

Overall length: 36"

Condition: This vintage Crombie cloth coat is in very good condition with no pronounced wear - there is a wear spot to the lining just above the pocket with the Crombie label.
