Vintage Kramer Gold Lily Trembler Brooch with Tassels Large Floral Pin
This is a vintage Kramer gold-tone lily brooch, dating to the late 1950s to the 1960s, featuring a dimensional floral design with a long, dangling chain tassel.
The brooch is fashioned in the form of a stylized lily, with overlapping, upward-sweeping petals and gracefully curved outer petals that give the piece considerable depth and movement. The gold-tone metal has a finely textured, striated finish that catches and reflects the light.
Suspended from the base of the flower is a substantial tassel composed of multiple lengths of textured gold-tone chain, gathered into individual metal caps. The tassel hangs freely beneath the flower. Because the tassels move with body movement, this brooch is considered a type of trembler brooch.
The brooch is signed KRAMER © on the reverse and is fitted with a conventional pin and rollover safety clasp.
