The wolf is depicted standing on a moulded naturalistic base, with its head turned slightly to one side and its tail hanging behind.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe figurine is hand painted in graduated shades of grey, charcoal and brown, with lighter colouring to the face, underside and legs. The coat is modelled with raised areas suggesting the heavier fur around the shoulders, back and hindquarters, while the eyes and facial details are individually painted. The wolf stands on an irregular white porcelain base with subtle grey shading.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe underside bears the blue Hollóháza factory backstamp with the bird and wreath emblem, reading \u003cb\u003e1777 \/ HOLLÓHÁZA \/ HUNGARY \/ Handpainted\u003c\/b\u003e. It is also marked \u003cb\u003e02\u003c\/b\u003e, together with a red hand-painted mark.
