Vintage Jacques Fath Paris Silk Necktie Navy Blue Black Red Floral Wide Tie 1970s NOS

This is a vintage Jacques Fath Paris men's silk necktie, made in France, featuring a repeating diagonal pattern of stylized red floral and scrollwork motifs against a very dark navy blue ground. The navy is so deep that it can easily be considered a bluish black.

The tie is fashioned in silk, with a smooth finish and a woven appearance. The decorative pattern is arranged in diagonal bands, interspersed with small floral motifs. The reverse is finished with a burgundy-coloured lining featuring a woven pattern reading Jacques Fath Paris, together with a coat of arms.

The tie retains its original Jacques Fath Paris woven designer label, marked Made in France and Soie (silk). It also retains its original red Jacques Fath paper hang tag, suggesting that it has never been worn.
