This is a vintage Atelier Versace 100% silk scarf, made in Italy, featuring an elaborate Baroque-inspired design in shades of gold, yellow, black and cream.
The scarf has a large central diamond-shaped composition surrounded by scrolling acanthus leaves, floral ornamentation and a circular medallion. The design is framed by a broad black border incorporating a classical Greek key pattern, decorative floral medallions and gold scrollwork. A further patterned border surrounds the entire scarf.
The Atelier Versace signature appears within a diamond-shaped cartouche along the outer border. The scarf also retains its original Versace label and fabric content and care labels confirming 100% silk and Made in Italy.
The silk has a fine twill weave, and the edges are neatly rolled and stitched.
