Vintage 1960s Finlandia Hand Printed Finnish Cotton Tie Cambridge Spice House Boston Psychedelic Necktie

This striking vintage necktie dates to the late 1960s and features an eye-catching hand-printed abstract design in vibrant shades of hot pink, red, orangey red and gold. The organic pattern perfectly captures the psychedelic and Mod design influences that defined fashion during the era.

The tie retains two original labels. One identifies the fabric as "Finlandia – Hand Printed in Finland – All Cotton,"while the second indicates it was retailed by Cambridge Spice House of Boston, Massachusetts, most likely a specialty importer and boutique retailer, common during the late 60s.

The vivid colour palette and stylized floral motifs reflect the growing popularity of Scandinavian textile design during the late 1960s, when Finnish and Swedish patterns became highly fashionable in North America.
