Vintage 1950s 60s Queen Elizabeth Hotel Montreal Double Egg Cup

This is a vintage 1950s or 60s double egg cup used at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal.  The Queen Elizabeth was opened in 1958 and hosted many well known celebrities including Queen Elizabeth herself (four times), King Charles III, The Queen Mother, Fidel Castro, Charles de Gaulle, Princess Grace of Monaco, Nelson Mandela, the Dalai Lama, Jimmy Carter, Henry Kissinger, Joan Crawford, John Travolta and George W Bush.  But most famously of all, John Lennon and Yoko Ono conducted their Bed-In for Peace there in 1969, recording “Give Peace a Chance” in their room with many well-known celebrities of the time.  

This egg cup measures 4” in height and is in excellent condition.  It is probably made of vitrified porcelain.
