Condition
In very good condition.
The patterned front fabric displays beautifully, and I do not observe any staining or significant issues to the visible surface. There is moisture staining to the lining fabric at both ends, as shown in the photographs. The staining does not appear to have migrated through to the front of the tie and would be concealed during wear. The tie remains attractive, highly presentable, and very wearable, with the condition issue reflected in the price. As always, professional dry cleaning may further improve its appearance.
A fabulous and increasingly difficult-to-find example of an authentic 1940s tie, perfect for completing a vintage Swing Era wardrobe.
