This is a men’s wool dress scarf made during the 1970s under the Lanvin Paris fashion house label.  The pattern features squares in tones of greyish blue, yellow, brownish red and white against a darker brown background.  The fringe is pulled.

Retailer label:Henri Henri rue Ste Catherine Est Montreal - this is a venerable haberdashery, specialized in men’s hats and accessories

Content label:  100% wool CA00236; this is the identification number for the Canadian manufacturer Park Lane, who probably made this scarf under license from Lanvin

Size: 49” long with a width of 11”.

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, soiling or odour - this scarf looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years, clean and ready to wear.

This is a classy scarf - nice 70s pattern design by a French fashion house!
