Vintage 1970s Leather Jacket Button Up Mens Size S M
Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing
This is a vintage mens’ 1970s leather jacket made in a medium brown colour. This 1970s leather jacket has flap covered padded shoulders, a pointy collar and does up with four buttons. The jacket is cut to accentuate the body silhouette - note the curved seams and the diagonal band at either side. There is a flap covered slant pocket at either side. It is lined in copper toned satin fabric.
Label: Voyageur Created By Pierre Desmarais Montreal, Canada. The lack of French text on a Canadian label definitely dates this prior to 1973, when bilingual labels were required by law.
Sizing: No size is indicated on this 1970s leather jacket, and although it should fit a size small to medium (US size 36-38), please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the leather into consideration:
Shoulders: 17” across from seam to seam
Sleeves: 25” from the shoulder seam
Sleeve inseam: 17 1/2”
Chest: 41” around, taken under the arms
Waist: 39” around
Overall length: 29“, measured flat
Condition: This 1970s leather jacket is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, marking or soiling typical of older leather jackets. This looks like it saw very little use and was well stored over the years.
This is a great looking 1970s leather jacket - 70s styling in a nice colour!
