Vintage 1980s Trench Raincoat by Aquascutum - Dark Navy - 44 R

This is a wonderful vintage trench coat made in Canada by Aquascutum of London.  The trench is made of a cotton/poly blend and has a checked lining.  It has all of the details seen on a quality trench coat - military style collar and lapels, drip flap on the left chest area, button down epaulets on the shoulders, adjustable straps on the cuffs of the sleeves, matching belt with metal rings, drip flap across the upper back and a kick pleat at the back.  The collar can be worn up to protect the neck and the left lapel can be buttoned to the right in order to cover the neckline.  It is cut with raglan sleeves and the buttons down the front are arranged in a double breasted style.

Color: Dark Navy Blue practically black

Material:  55% Cotton / 45% Polyester - Aqua 5 Water Repellent fabric

Sizing: Size 44 regular is indicated, so this should fit a large size -  please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  22” across from just outside one epaulet to the other epaulet (difficult to measure due to raglan sleeve cut)

Sleeves:  26” long approximate (from estimated shoulder)

Sleeve Inseam:  18 1/2”

Chest: 52” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 50” around, but meant to be cinched with the belt

Hips: 52” around

Length: 48”

Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, odors or stains - this raincoat was well cared for over the years and looks to have seen little, if any, use. 

This is classic Aquascutum using quality fabric in an attractive color and striking trench coat styling!
