This is a wonderful 1960s British invasion era men’s suit made in a shiny green worsted wool fabric with a light blue pinstripe - the green colour has a gold undertone to it and, indeed, if you look at the fabric with a magnifier you can see the gold toned thread interspersed in the weave.  The jacket has high set medium width notched lapels and does up with three matching covered buttons.  The shoulders of the jacket are slightly padded and there is a flapped pocket at either side, and a pocket at the left chest.  The cuff of each sleeve has two covered buttons affixed.  The jacket has a 9” centre vent at the bottom back and is half lined with a striped copper coloured satin fabric.  It has two interior pockets. The pants have a flat front (no pleats) and a tapered leg with a slightly flared cuff at the bottom.  There is a pocket at either side and two at the back.
