This is a lovely vintage nightie made of peachy pink rayon fabric with flowers embroidered at the low cut neckline and the banded waist.  The neckline and arm openings are trimmed in lace.  There is a tie at either side of the waistband, both at the front and back, that tie in order to cinch the waist.  There are tiny little tucks under the waistband that give the skirt of the nightie a fullness that falls in drapes.

Sizing: There is size label that reads “46” - assuming that this is a French sizing, the equivalent would be a US size 16 (large), but being a vintage sizing, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the garment into account:

Bust: 41” around, but this should fit loosely

Waist: 34” around, uncinched, but meant to be cinched by the ties

Hips:  50” around, but meant to fall loosely

Length: 53”

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, splits, odors or stains.  This nightie was well stored over the years and looks like it saw little use.  

This is a wonderful old nightie - lovely style, nice fabric and attractive detailing.....
