Vintage Japanese Silk Kimono Floral Embroidery Robe Size M L

This is a gorgeous vintage Japanese silk kimono - Japanese in form, but possibly made in China.  The silk is gauzy, light and very fine and of a type more typically made in China.  The fabric is hand embroidered with a raised floral design in two tones of pink and white against the light pink silk colour.  This vintage Japanese silk kimono is cut in a classic kimono form with wide cut sleeves and is fully lined in a light pink silk.  The hemline is padded and covered with white silk.  The kimono should fit a medium to large size but please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of this vintage Japanese silk kimono into consideration (it might be helpful to measure a kimono that you already own):

Top:  53” across, including the top of the sleeves / Shoulders:  31” across from seam to seam / Bust:  42” with a normal closure, but meant to be loose / Waist:  44” but meant to be cinched with the belt  / Hips:  48”, meant to fall loosely / Length:  54” at the back, measured flat

Condition:  This vintage Japanese silk kimono is in very good condition with no pronounced wear or tear, staining or odour.  This kimono has been very well cared for over the last 90+ years.
