This is a vintage Christian Dior turban styled hat dating to the 1960s. The maker's label reads "Christian Dior Chapeaux Paris New York". There is an American union label affixed to the backside of the Dior label. The hat is made in a turban style in pleated black satin and accented by cut velvet in a metallic red color - very striking!

There is no size label, but the interior rim measures 21 3/4" around - this would make it about a size 6 7/8 but, I believe, however, that this hat should sit on top of the head, like a pillbox, so it is more of a medium sized hat.

It is in very good condition and looks like it was well cared for over the years.

Wonderful Dior hat...sure to be noticed!
