Vintage 70s Jean Jourdan Paris Black Sequin Jacket Size 14

This is a wonderful black sequin jacket made by Jean Jourdan Paris, probably during the 1970s.  This black sequin jacket is decorated with flowers in sequins in bright colours of pink, purple and blue.  The jacket has batwing sleeves and is sequinned over the front and back on a black polyester chiffon fabric.  It closes with three buttons at the bottom - otherwise, the jacket is open at the front.  It is unlined.

Sizing: Size 14 is indicated on this black sequin jacket and although this should fit a large size, please note the following measurements for fit (your body measurements should be smaller, or measure a similar garment that you own):

Sleeves:  26” from the mid-neck to the sleeve cuff

Bust:  Difficult to measure due to the batwing sleeve and the width of the gap at the centre, but probably about 40”

Bottom:  35”

Length:  20” long, measured flat

Condition: This black sequin jacket is in very clean condition with no wear, tear, stains or odours.  Some of the sequins are “turned” or uneven in the vertical row, but I don’t note any missing. This jacket looks like it saw little use,, and was very well cared for over the years.

This is a striking 1970s era black sequin jacket - great piece to add to a plain black dress!
