This is a beautiful quality long coat made by Parisian fashion design house Dejac.  Dejac was founded in 1973 and closed its doors in 1997.  It had a target market of women who wore classic fashion of high quality.  Their clothes had a medium high price point - they were sold in the same boutiques that would sell Dior, Gucci and Chanel.  This long coat has beautiful lines, as you would expect from a designer coat.  It has a single button closure at the neckline that is one of a pair - otherwise this long coat remains closed by virtue of the overlap and the full cut of the coat.  This long coat is cut with a flare to the hemline, so the coat falls in drapes.  There is a large patch pocket affixed to either side.  The coat is fully lined in blue satin.

Label: Dejac Paris.

Retailer label:  Lily Simon Boutique Montreal Fabriqué en France.  Lily Simon had a couple of designer fashion boutiques in Montreal.  She sold only high end Paris fashion

Fabric:  The content label is missing on this long coat, but I would think that this is a wool and cashmere or wool, mohair and alpaca blend in a lovely tone of blue.  Dejac liked to use quality blends of wool, cashmere, mohair and alpaca in different proportions.  Very soft, and definitely a quality fabric.

Sizing: No size is indicated, but this should fit a large size - please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the fabric into consideration:

Shoulders:  22” across seam-to-seam

Sleeves:  21” long - note the dropped shoulder

Sleeve Inseam:  13” long

Bust:  46” around, taken under the arms, with a normal overlap at the opening

Waist: 50” around

Hemline:  62” around

Length:  46”

Condition: This long coat is in very clean condition but has three or so surface nibbles, two at the right back shoulder (see last close-up photo) and another down the back, all difficult to notice as the fabric has a lovely nappe (finish) - other than the surface nibbles, this long coat looks to have seen little use and was well cared for over the last 30 or so years.

This is a beautiful long coat, classic style, attractive colour and lovely quality fabric - sold at a very reasonable price due to the small defects…..
