This is a beautiful quality vintage beaded purse or evening bag made in France. The vintage beaded purse is beaded overall with black glass beads. The clasp is decorated with gold toned metal stems that are studded with faux pearls and rhinestones. It would date to the 1950s or early 60s. This vintage beaded purse is lined in pearl toned white satin and has a single interior compartment with a side pocket affixed to the side. The side pocket is gold stamped “Made in France for Eaton’s of Canada”. It has a gold toned metal rope handle. It measures 8” in width at its bottom by 5 3/8” in height exclusive of its handle - the handle has a fall of 3 1/2”. It is in very good condition, clean on the interior with no missing beads or wear. This is a beautiful quality vintage beaded purse - lovely piece to use, keep and treasure!
