Vintage 1980s Fendi Zucca Monogram Shoulder Bag Purse Slant Top Authentic

This is a wonderful vintage Fendi shoulder bag purse made in a beautiful quality Zucca monogram woven canvas with leather strap. The Zucca logo was designed by Karl Lagerfeld when he was engaged in 1965 by Fendi to rejuvenate the then 20 year old company and to establish the Fendi brand and has become an iconic logo. The top of the bag is made in a slanted form and closes with a magnetic snap. The interior has a single compartment with a zippered compartment built into the lining at the interior side of the purse. It has gold toned hardware, and a centre reinforced shoulder strap with decorative stitching. It is 100% authentic - the interior of the pocket is stamped with a serial number (see close-up photo) and all hardware and stampings conform to a 1980s era Fendi bag. You really just have to touch the bag and it becomes apparent as to authenticity - they actually made better quality during the 1980s before luxury brands expanded their markets and started producing their offerings in China.

Label: Gold plaque on the interior that is stamped “Fendi Roma Italy 1925” with the Zucca logo in a circle with “Fendi ® S,A,S, Roma Made in Italy” next to it. The zipper pull is also stamped in a similar manner to the circle on the plaque

Color: Black and brown

Sizing: 11” wide by 9 1/2” to 11 1/2” in height with an expandable depth at the bottom of 2 3/4”.  The shoulder strap is 14 inches on the longer side and 13 inches on the shorter side, due to the bag being constructed at an angle.

Condition: It is in very good condition with no signs of wear - this bag looks to have seen very little, if any, use
