Mid Century Modern Sgraffito Pedestal Bowl Rye Pottery England

This is a wonderful mid century modern pottery pedestal bowl made in England by Rye Pottery. The piece is decorated in the sgraffito incised technique and glazed in a lemony green colour with darker colour through the sgraffito detailing. It measures 8 3/8 in diameter across the top, 3 3/8 in diameter across the bottom and 7 in height. It has two hairline chips to the top edge, noticeable on the interior, but not visible on the exterior - Ive shown a close-up photo of each hairline taken from the interior, followed by the exterior. Otherwise, there are no other chips, cracks or wear and the piece displays very well as is. Great modern form - this doesnt appear to be a common shape for Rye Pottery, so a wonderful addition to a collection or just a great display piece for a modern decor!
