This is a fringed men’s scarf featuring a wonderful paisley pattern in red, navy blue and white against a light blue background colour.  The fringe is in red, white and blue.

Age: 1940s / 1950s

Label: No label

Material: No fabric label, but I think that this is a wool or rayon blend challis - soft with good weight and fall.

Size: 41” long, exclusive of fringe, and 47” long including the 3” fringe at either side.  It has a width of 11 1/2”.

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, staining.  The scarf is slightly soiled in the middle but a dry cleaning will take care of this - otherwise, this scarf looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.

Nice colours on this fringed scarf - with a cleaning, this will be a great piece to accessorize a coat!
