Vintage Mens Silk Cream White Dinner Jacket Switzerland M L

This is a men’s cream coloured / off white dinner jacket made in Switzerland of a quality silk fabric.  The silk is woven with a fine houndstooth pattern in satin against a matte background - one can see some “slubs”, typical of silk, in the material.   

This white dinner jacket has medium width notched lapels and a two button closure.  The shoulders of this off white dinner jacket are padded the sleeves have four buttons at either cuff.  There is a jetted pocket at either side (no flap) and a pocket at the left chest.  The jacket is fully lined in a white viscose fabric.  It has two interior pockets and no back vent.   

Age: difficult to know for sure, but probably 1980s 

Label: The maker’s label is no longer present on this off white dinner jacket, but this is a quality garment.  The neck loop reads “Made in Switzerland”.

Sizing: No size is indicated, but this should fit a size 40, maybe 42 - please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior (please note the length of the sleeves, the waist measurement, the shoulder measurement, and take the cut of the garment into consideration):

Sleeves: 25 1/2” from shoulder/sleeve seam

Overall length: 30 3/4”, measured flat

Condition: This white dinner jacket is in very clean condition without wear, tear or soiling - this jacket has been very well cared for and stored.
