This is a wonderful fedora style hat made by Stetson in their Imperial grade “Velurin” finish.  The hat is made in a velvet-like finish fur felt in black.  The brim is turned up at the edge. The crown has a matching band around its base with a gold toned buckle at the left side.  The sweatband is gold stamped “Velurin” and the lining is printed with “Imperial Stetson”.  It  is sized as a 7 1/8 - it measures 22 1/4” around the sweat band and 8” by 6 3/4” across the opening.  The brim measures 1 7/8” in width and the crown measures 4 3/4” in height - the narrow brim makes it either a trilby or a narrow brim fedora, I’m not sure which it would be in this case.  The hat is in very good condition - looks to have seen little use and is ready to wear.  This is a nice quality hat in a nice finish - I believe that Imperial is one of Stetson’s better quality lines…..
