Vintage Icesheep Pullover Wool Sweater Iceland Unisex M L

This is a wonderful vintage Icesheep pullover wool sweater made in Iceland. 

This vintage Icesheep pullover is made in a classic style with a straight “bateau” style neckline.  It has “dropped shoulders” - the shoulder seam sits at the upper arm (note photos)  It is knit in horizontal zigzag and triangular patterns in black against blue and white bands.  It has black ribbed cuffs, neckline and bottom.  

Label: TH M Hafnarfjordur Icesheep Hand Wash Pure New Wool.  Icelandic sheep are known for producing an light, airy wool that is also strong and water repellent

Sizing: Size L for large is indicated on the label - this vintage Icesheep pullover would be a ladies’ size large, but if a man wanted to wear this, it would be a medium - please rely on the following measurements for fit (please take the thickness of the wool into account):

Shoulders:  28” from dropped shoulder/sleeve seam to dropped shoulder/sleeve seam - estimated actual shoulders would be more like 17”

Sleeves: 19” long from the dropped shoulder/sleeve seam, 33 1/2” from the mid-neck to the cuff edge

Sleeve Inseam: 19” long

Chest: 48” around, taken under the arms, unstretched, 24” across pit-to-pit

Bottom: 34” around unstretched

Overall length: 22”, measured flat

Condition:  This vintage Icesheep pullover is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, pulls, stains or odour.
