This is a vintage mens opera scarf made of off-white crepe fabric in a twill finish.  The scarf is hand knot fringed in white at either end.  

Age: 1950s

Label: A Bruck Fabric.  I believe that Bruck is an Australian manufacturer that used to produce apparel, but now specializes in safety gear.

Material:  Crepe fabric that is silky, but that I believe is rayon - not matter what, this is a quality fabric with very nice feel, weight and fall.

Size: 17 1/2” wide by 48” long, exclusive of its fringe - the fringe measures 3 1/2” long at either end, so total length with fringe is 55”

Condition:  This opera scarf is in very good condition with the exception of three light marks (see last three close-up photos), quite minor.  There is a dry cleaning ticket affixed to the fringe of the opera scarf but I would think that if you paid attention to the individual marks that some or all would come out by spot cleaning with the right cleaning agent.  Otherwise, there is no wear, tear or other staining and this scarf displays very well as is.

This is a nice vintage opera scarf, great for a formal event!
