Vintage 1990s Mens Formal Wear Tuxedo Paul Stuart Size 43 S

This is a very nice quality mens formal wear tuxedo made by Paul Stuart of Chicago, New York and Tokyo.  Paul Stuart has been in existence since 1938 and is known for producing high quality formal wear.  The jacket of the tuxedo is made with a peaked collar, padded shoulders, single button closure, four button cuffs, flapped pocket at either side and a pocket at the left chest.  All buttons are satin covered as are the lapels.  It was union made in Canada under license to Paul Stuart by Samuelsohn, a maker of high quality menswear - the ACTWU/TAVT label on the back of the content label was in use between 1976 and 1995.  The fabric on this formal wear tuxedo is Super 100 100% wool.   

Sizing: Size 43 short is indicated on the content label - please rely on the following measurements for fit (compare measurement with a similar tuxedo that you presently own):

Shoulders: 20” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves: 25” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam: 16”

Chest:  48” around

Waist:  44” around

Overall length:  31”, measured flat

Pants: 

Waist: 37”-38”

Leg inseam: 29 1/2”

Overall length: 38 1/2”

Condition:  This formal wear tuxedo suit is in very clean condition with no wear, tear, staining odour - it looks to have seen little use and has been well cared for over the years. .
