Vintage 1990s Faux Fur Coat Southwest Blanket Pattern Size M

This is a vintage faux fur coat made in 1993 using an acrylic pile fabric printed in a pattern influenced by Southwestern Native American Indian blanket design.  This faux fur coat is hooded and has a wide shawl collar that can be worn up or down.  The front closes with four pegs and loops.  There is a diagonal pocket built into either side and the shoulders are padded.  It is fully lined in a black acetate fabric. 

Labels: Monterey Fashions Made in USA.  There is an additional label that states “Sample” with the model number, the date of 3/1/93 and the size.

Sizing: Size M is indicated, and although this faux fur coat should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the fabric and the oversized style of this faux fur coat into account:

Shoulders:  21” across, from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves:  20 1/2” long from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve Inseam:  16”

Bust: 48” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 48” around

Hips:  50” around

Overall length: 34", measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Condition:  This faux fur coat is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining or odour - there is wear to the rubbering interior opening of either pocket, but this is not noticeable. There is one loop missing at the top. Otherwise, the coat looks like it saw moderate use and was well stored over the years.

This is a vey attractive 90s era faux fur coat featuring a very good quality acrylic pile in an attractive pattern.......sure to be noticed!
