Vintage 1980s New Wave Suit Silver Grey Size Large

This vintage 1980s New Wave suit was designed by Michael Goldgrub of Toronto and reflects the exaggerated aesthetics of the 1980s. Made in Canada, this vintage 1980s New Wave suit is composed of a slubbed grey polyester-rayon blend that gives the fabric a subtle flecked texture.

The jacket is styled with a shawl collar, strong padded shoulders, and closes with three metal crested buttons down the lower front.  Buttons to either side of the closure hold up tabs that would otherwise extend the bottom front of the jacket.  The jacket has a chest pocket at either side and a cropped back. The pants have a high rise, double pleats, tapered legs, and side waist tabs. The jacket interior is lined with black acetate.
