Vintage 1980s Beaded Jacket Silver Lamé Evening Wear Size L

This is a stunning 1980s beaded jacket featuring coral coloured beads, silver grey bugle rhinestones and gold toned ball shaped beads on silver lamé fabric that is printed with orange detail.  This 1980s beaded jacket is made with large pads, typical of 1980s style, long sleeves, V shaped neckline and rounded cutaway at the bottom opening.  The jacket does up with three hooks and eyes - the top one is missing the eye, I have photographed it like this.  It is fully lined with orange viscose.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this should fit a large size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  17” across shoulder/sleeve seams

Sleeves:  24” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam:  16 1/2”

Bust:  40”, taken under the arm

Bottom:  36” around

Length:  18”, measured flat at the back

Weight:  3 lbs and 11 oz.  This 1980s beaded jacket is quite heavy, a sign of the quality of the piece

Condition:  Except for a few missing beads, this 1980s beaded jacket is in very good, clean condition with no pronounced wear, tear, holes, stains or odors.  There are two large gold beads missing, one at the right shoulder area and one at the centre upper back (see second and third to last photos).  In addition, there is a row of smaller gold beads at the back neck that is missing, and there are a couple that are still present, but loose. 

This is a striking 1980s beaded jacket - the rhinestone and beaded embellishment is fabulous and the lamé of exceptional quality…..great to dress up a solid coloured dress, the sparkle under the lights should be spectacular!
