This is a wonderful example of mens mod dandy fashion - an early 1970s sports jacket featuring a geometric patterned striping in tones of purple, ochre gold and white. This 1970s sports jacket is unlabeled as to content, but probably either polyester or a wool/polyester blended double knit. The jacket is made with slightly padded shoulders, wide notched lapels, a two button front and a chest pocket and side pockets, each with a wide cutaway flap. The jacket is half lined in an ornate printed acetate fabric. The back vent is still stitched closed, a sign that this jacket saw very little use.
