Vintage 1970s Silver Dinner Jacket Palm Beach Formals Tuxedo

This is a fabulous vintage 70s silver dinner jacket made in a blend of black wool and metallic silver with black trim.  This silver dinner jacket has high set wide lapels and a three black button closure.  It has a wide slant flap pocket at either side and a chest pocket.  The collar is black velvet while the lapels are trimmed in black rickrack and the pockets are trimmed in black satin.  It is fully lined in black viscose that is woven throughout with the “Palm Beach” logo.

Fabric:  No fabric label is visible on this silver dinner jacket, but although you can’t see this in the photos, the metallic silver is equally prevalent to the black wool, which gives this jacket its grey appearance - the silver is very shiny, so this would be amazing under lighting.

Sizing: The size label on this silver dinner jacket reads 39 S for 39 short, but this is a vintage size and I’m thinking that this is more like a US size 36-38 - please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior (please take the thickness of the fabric and the cut of the garment into consideration):

Shoulders: 17 1/2” across shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves: 24” from shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve Inseam: 16” long

Chest: 41” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 36”

Overall length: 31“, measured flat

Condition:  This silver dinner jacket is in excellent condition - no wear, tear, staining or odour.
