Vintage 1970s Silk Dressing Gown Made in England Size M

This is an excellent quality silk dressing gown made in England.  This silk dressing gown features features a repeating geometric motif in tones of blue, yellow, red and dropped out white against a navy blue background.  It has a wide shawl collar and applied pockets at the left chest and at either side.  The sleeves have turned cuffs.  It has a matching sash belt and is unlined.

Sizing: Size M is indicated, and although this silk dressing gown would fit a size medium, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  18 1/2” across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Sleeves:  25 1/2” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam:  17”

Chest: 43” with a normal overlap

Waist: Meant to be cinched

Length: 44”, taken at the back from the neck seam

Condition:  This silk dressing gown is in excellent condition - the original owner’s name is on a label sewn onto the back neck, but otherwise, there is no noted wear, tear, stains or odous. This was well cared for over the last 50 or so years and looks to have seen very little use.
